NY Assemblyman Dov Hikind to Lead Mission to “Judea & Samaria”

The following is a letter from New York State Assemblyman, Dov Hikind

Dear Friend,

1I am writing to you about a mission I am planning that may well change the landscape of the Jewish homeland. I know how close Israel is to your heart, and how difficult it is to hear of the extreme pressure the Israeli government is facing to make concessions.

I always had reservations regarding Barack Obama’s attitude toward Israel. While I did not support his candidacy, almost 75% of Jewish voters did. With his charm and charisma flowing, he stepped back from his earlier policies and won over the hearts of Jewish constituents with his promise of his solid, unwavering commitment to the State of Israel. Where is that commitment now? The Obama administration is now taking a more assertive and dramatic approach to its long-time ally. Israel is being pushed hard into making difficult decisions and concessions.

At this pivotal moment in Israeli history, we must do all that is in our power to ensure the strength and security of the Jewish state. We have an important task before us: to show our support for the 300,000 Jews living in Yehuda and Shomron, as well as the 300,000 Jews living in so-called East Jerusalem. Our goal is to send a message to Washington that Jews have the right to live in any part of Eretz Yisroel. More importantly, it will give chizuk to our brethren in Jerusalem, Yehuda and Shomron.

How can a young family in Ariel be told that they cannot add an extra bedroom to the home they have lived in for 12 years? How can Jews be told that they will no longer be entitled to build a single home in the Jewish sections of Jerusalem and even adjacent areas like Ma’aleh Adumin? We must not remain silent!

Beginning Saturday evening, November 14th and returning November 18th, we will spend four days and three nights in Yehuda, Shomron and Jerusalem. Meeting intriguing speakers, government officials and visiting fascinating places, the mission promises to be memorable.

I hope that this will be the first of many missions. The cost of the trip is $1350, all inclusive. As you can imagine, there are many expenses related to this mission. We need your support to make it successful. If you would like to join us or require further information, please contact Dov Cohen at my office at: 718-853-9616. If you cannot participate but would like to contribute, checks should be made out to: United Jerusalem 48. I look forward to sharing this momentous experience with you.

Sincerely yours,
Dov Hikind

I have no idea how important State Assemblymen are or how much juice they have, but the fact remains that we have an elected U.S. official leading a mission of ethnic cleansing! Please help me to spread the word to others and to tell Dov Hikind that ethnic cleansing is wrong in all cases!

I just finished sending this idiot the following letter:

I’ve recently received notice of your intent to lead a delegation to “Judea and Samaria” to further the settler cause http://bit.ly/taeOR if this is indeed a letter you have written then you should be aware that your actions and intentions are absolutely deplorable. You are encouraging the violating of international law. You are rewarding and supporting the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. Given your Jewish background I would expect you to have some degree of compassion and be at the forefront of campaigns deterring from such things. Your mission will further the stalemate that has left so many Israelis, Jews, Palestinians, and indeed, Americans dead. This mission of yours is a disgrace to your position as an American servant and an absolute disgrace to the memory of all who have perished in the name of hate and zealotry. Ethnic cleansing was wrong in Nazi Germany and it is wrong in Palestine.
